You'll receive a booster dose of a safe and effective Pfizer or Moderna vaccine approved in the UK.
These updated vaccines target recent COVID-19 variants for better protection.

Important information:
In very rare cases, serious side effects may occur. Seek immediate medical advice if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, or rapid heartbeat after vaccination.
If you are unwell on the day of your appointment, wait to get vaccinated until you recover.
The vaccine reduces your risk of severe illness from COVID-19, but it may take a few days for full protection to develop.
If you haven't had all your previous vaccinations, you can get them during this campaign. Most people don't need extra doses to make up for missed vaccinations.
If you have a history of allergies or a previous immediate reaction, inform the vaccinator.
As with your previous dose, the common side effects are the same for all COVID-19 vaccines, including the updated vaccines being used this spring and include
Common side effects are mild and usually go away within a week:
Pain, tenderness, or swelling at the injection site
For worsening symptoms, contact NHS 111 by phone or 18001 111 by text.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Typhoid causes systemic infection which may present as fever, headache, confusion and vague abdominal pain. Constipation is common in adults.
Typhoid vaccines do not confer complete protection so preventative measures as above are very important even when fully vaccinated.
The protection comes in the form of a vaccine or oral window capsule.
The vaccines offer some protection for three years, but do not protect against para-typhoid fever. Typhoid vaccines do not confer complete protection so preventative measures are very important even when fully vaccinated.
